Which Region of Westeros Would Claim You?

Not which house — which place. Answer twelve questions about cold mornings, old grudges and what you would do with a ruined holdfast, and the map decides where you belong. Free, no account, nothing saved, and your result gets its own link.

How it works

Twelve questions, four answers each. Every answer pulls a little toward two or three of the eight regions rather than pointing at exactly one, so the result comes out of the whole run instead of one give-away question. At the end the totals are compared, the highest wins, and you are told which region came second and by how much.

Nothing is sent anywhere. There is no server behind this page and no account to make — the scoring happens in your own browser, and your answers never leave it. What you get at the end is a link with your twelve answers packed into a short code, which is how a friend opening it sees exactly the result you saw.

Sharing your result

When the quiz finishes, the address in your browser changes to a link that carries your answers. Copy it with the button, or straight out of the address bar — either way, whoever opens it lands on your region with your reading, and can take the twelve questions themselves from the same page. No screenshot required, and nobody has to sign up to see what you got.

This is fan-made, and unofficial

This is a free, unofficial fan quiz — an unofficial fan tribute, made for fun. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to George R. R. Martin, HBO, or any official Game of Thrones property.

Every word of it was written for this page. It reproduces no text, artwork, logos or screenshots from the books or the show; it refers to houses and places by name in sentences of its own, and nothing more. Iron Realms — the game this site is otherwise about — is an original fantasy strategy game with its own world, and has nothing to do with Westeros. This corner of the site is separate on purpose.

More diversions

The fan tributes hub has the rest of them — a daily lore round, a motto generator, a sigil bracket and a banner reading. The one that started all this is the Which Great House Are You? quiz. If you would rather play something, Iron Realms is free and runs in the browser.

Iron Realms is an original work of fantasy strategy. “Iron Realms” is a working project name, not necessarily the game’s final title. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other game or franchise. The game's own lore, names, and artwork are original or used under CC0/CC-BY/OFL licences (see the in-game Credits). The community section also hosts unofficial fan tributes — quizzes and diversions made for fun, not part of the game — which reference other fictional worlds under their own labels; those are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to their respective rights holders. Pre-alpha, and built in public. Nothing is for sale. No purchases are available, no payment is accepted, and no money is taken. Any prices named anywhere on this site describe the intended model only, and the game will not accept payment until it is out of pre-alpha. Iron Realms is an early build under active development: features, balance, prices and the game's holdings and systems are conceptual, and may change, move or disappear between visits. Progress may be reset while the realm is being built. Treat anything you read here as a work in progress rather than a promise.
