Fan Tributes
A corner for people who like Westeros and have no interest whatsoever in playing a strategy game. Five diversions, none of them connected to the game this site is otherwise about, all free, none of them asking you to sign up for anything. Every result gets its own link, because the whole point is sending them to somebody.
Which Region Would Claim You?
Twelve questions about cold mornings, old grudges and what you would do with a ruined holdfast. Eight regions, one verdict, and the runner-up you nearly were.
Sorting quiz · ~2 minutesThe Daily Lore Round
Five questions on houses, seats, sigils and the map — and everyone in the world gets the same five today. Share your score without giving a single answer away.
Daily trivia · new at midnight UTCWhat Are Your House Words?
Put a name in and take the motto that comes with it, plus a banner, a seat and a region. The same name always gives the same words, which is the fun of it.
Generator · one line of typingThe Banner Bracket
Direwolf or onion. Kraken or falcon. Fifteen head-to-head choices, no right answers, and one banner still standing — with the whole road it took.
Elimination bracket · ~1 minuteRaise a Banner
Pick a field, a division and a charge. The banner is drawn in front of you as you go, and then read back to you rather less charitably than you might like.
Heraldry builder · 576 bannersWhich Great House Are You?
The one that started this corner. Twenty questions, nine Great Houses, and a verdict written fresh from your own answers rather than picked off a shelf.
The original · ~4 minutesWhat this corner is
The rest of this site is about a strategy game. This part is not. These are fan diversions — quizzes, a daily round, a couple of generators — made because they are enjoyable, and put here because a community is a better thing to belong to than a mailing list. You do not need the game, an account, or any interest in either to use any of them.
Nothing here is saved, and nothing is sent anywhere. Every one of these pages runs entirely in your browser: your answers, your name, your bracket and your banner never leave the machine you are sitting at. There is no login, no email box, no cookie banner and no tracking, because none of it needs any.
Everything here is shareable without an account
Each diversion turns your result into a short code and puts it in the address bar, so the link you copy opens on exactly the thing you saw — your region with your reading, your bracket with the banners it beat, your banner drawn identically. Send it to somebody and they land on your result with a way to get their own, and neither of you has to sign up to anything. That is deliberate: a result nobody else can see is a result there was no point producing.
Five different shapes, on purpose
- A sorting quiz that weighs twelve answers across eight outcomes.
- A daily round derived from the date, so everybody gets the same five questions and nobody needs a server to agree on it.
- A generator that takes a single name and hashes it into a motto, a seat and a banner.
- An elimination bracket that is pure opinion and produces an argument rather than a verdict.
- A builder with no submit button at all, that draws vector heraldry as you fiddle with it.
They are different on purpose. Five variations on one quiz engine would be one page pretending to be five, and nobody shares the fourth of those.
This is fan-made, and unofficial
These are free, unofficial fan quizzes and diversions — an unofficial fan tribute, made for fun. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to George R. R. Martin, HBO, or any official Game of Thrones property.
Everything here was written and drawn for these pages. No text, artwork, logo, screenshot or typeface from the books or the show is reproduced anywhere — houses and places are named in sentences of our own, and that is the whole extent of it. Iron Realms, the game the rest of this site is about, is an original fantasy strategy game with its own world, its own names and its own art, and has no connection to Westeros. This corner is kept separate on purpose, and nothing in it should be read as suggesting otherwise.
Say hello
If you build something better, spot a wrong answer in the daily round, or just want to argue that the onion should never have made the semi-final, the community lives on Discord — find lordking_uhtred, or start there from the community page. There is also a forum if you would rather write something longer.
And if you did come here for the game after all: Iron Realms is free, runs in the browser, and needs no download.
