My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.

Strip the songs away and it comes to this: whether a sworn brother can ever truly leave the Watch behind. I have changed my mind on this twice, which is more than most will admit to.

I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.

That is all I have, and it took me years to gather.
