I have been on both ends of what follows. Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.

What I am actually asking is whether a sworn brother can ever truly leave the Watch behind. I can argue either side, which tells me I do not know.

The part nobody accounts for is time. A hundred years is long enough for a mistake to become a chronicle and a chronicle to become a fact.

It cost me a keep to learn. It costs you nothing to read.
