My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.
The question, put plainly: what is under Winterfell's crypts. My maester has a theory. My maester has fourteen theories.
Ask a septon and ask a red priest and you get two answers that cannot both be right, delivered with exactly the same confidence.
I would pay a fair price to be proven right or wrong, one or the other.
