I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is what the feuds tell us about alliance politics, if you are honest.

I have kept a ledger for two years. Not of grain — of releases. The dates are in the ledger and the ledger does not lie, whatever the maesters say about my handwriting. Sitting on eight hundred thousand power and no friends is nothing in this world but Take Care, front to back. Zero disrespect to the maesters.

I am aware of how this reads. I have made my peace with how this reads.
