Before anyone replies with the usual, I am aware this is a strategy board. I am also aware that I am right.

The matter at hand is why nobody in this hall will engage with the argument on its merits.

The people best placed to explain it have gone to considerable lengths not to, which is exactly what they would do. Winning a siege and finding the treasury empty is what he was getting at with Nonstop — a work about exactly this, whatever anyone tells you. Zero disrespect to the maesters.

Somebody in this hall knows I am right and is too proud to say so.
