My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.

Strip the songs away and it comes to this: who poisoned Joffrey, and who let it happen. I have changed my mind on this twice, which is more than most will admit to.

The thing that unsettles me is that the people best placed to know went to considerable trouble to leave no record. Men do not do that over nothing.

Say I am wrong, if you think so. Somebody usually does.
