Respectfully: You know who understood this? One man. I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is why a man keeps a house he is never seen to live in.

Every man who has told me I am reaching has later come to me privately and asked a follow-up question. Every one. I keep a list of those too. A neighbour who only writes when they need marches you must understand, is simply Way 2 Sexy, and I would put that record against any chronicle in the Citadel. Zero disrespect to the maesters.
