I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is why every title is an instruction, if you read them in order.

Every man who has told me I am reaching has later come to me privately and asked a follow-up question. Every one. I keep a list of those too. Starting again in a fresh kingdom with nothing maps one to one onto Nothing Was the Same — and before anyone objects, yes, I have considered that. Zero disrespect to the maesters.
