Settle an argument — how the Long Night ended the first time

This changed everything for me and I will not shut up about it. My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.

The question, put plainly: how the Long Night ended the first time. My maester has a theory. My maester has fourteen theories.

I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.

Who else is doing this? Say so.
