Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.
The question, put plainly: who Jon Snow's mother really was. I think it will turn out to be simpler and sadder than the songs have it.
The part nobody accounts for is time. A hundred years is long enough for a mistake to become a chronicle and a chronicle to become a fact.
I expect to die not knowing, and I have made my peace with it.
