Opening post by Lord Halys Redfort · #1
A trader came through with a version of this I had not heard, which is the excuse I am using for bringing it up again.
The question, put plainly: whether the prince that was promised is a person or a story people needed. I think it will turn out to be simpler and sadder than the songs have it.
There is a version of this where the truth is dull — a bad decision, a bad winter, nobody's grand design — and I have never once heard anybody argue for it.
Say I am wrong, if you think so. Somebody usually does.
