Indulge me: There is a lesson here and it has whiskers. There is a war on. There is also a small silver creature asleep on the war table.
The matter at hand is the tribute Niko brought me, and what I am to do with it.
Niko has held the warm stone by the hearth for three winters and no creature in this keep has taken it from him. I could learn a great deal about holding a seat from Niko.
Niko would hold the line. Allie Blu would steal it.
