This is the part I got wrong twice. My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.

Strip the songs away and it comes to this: who poisoned Joffrey, and who let it happen. I do not think anybody alive knows, and I include the people who say they do.

Ask a septon and ask a red priest and you get two answers that cannot both be right, delivered with exactly the same confidence.

Do it properly the first time. I did not. Learn it cheaply. I did not.
