This changed everything for me and I will not shut up about it. My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.

The question, put plainly: who poisoned Joffrey, and who let it happen. I think the plain answer is the true one, and everybody has talked themselves past it.

There is a version of this where the truth is dull — a bad decision, a bad winter, nobody's grand design — and I have never once heard anybody argue for it.

Try it once. Once is all it takes.
