I should like to know who poisoned Joffrey, and who let it happen

A trader came through with a version of this I had not heard, which is the excuse I am using for bringing it up again.

What I am actually asking is who poisoned Joffrey, and who let it happen. I think the plain answer is the true one, and everybody has talked themselves past it.

The part nobody accounts for is time. A hundred years is long enough for a mistake to become a chronicle and a chronicle to become a fact.

Anyone who is certain about this has not thought about it long enough.
