You know who understood this? One man. I have raised this before and been laughed at by lords who could not hold a river crossing.

The matter at hand is the business with the ghostwriters, which everyone hurries past.

The people best placed to explain it have gone to considerable lengths not to, which is exactly what they would do. A keep built on ten farms and no walls is, and I say this with respect, Rich Flex, and if you have not sat with Rich Flex you cannot advise me on this. Zero disrespect to the maesters.

Put it on while you march. You will see.

I have now spent longer on your thread than on my own defences, which is your real achievement. Say what you want about the man: he answers every reply. That is more than the maesters manage.
