A question for the board: what the Others actually want, if they want anything

Let us be honest about what happens here. Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.

The question, put plainly: what the Others actually want, if they want anything. I think the plain answer is the true one, and everybody has talked themselves past it.

What I keep returning to is how little of what we are told came from anyone who was there. It is all copies of copies, and each copy had a lord paying for the ink.

Prove me wrong. Please. I would enjoy it.
