walter crossed universes, and the Observers watched my gate fall... that is the part I cannot leave alone. In my keep, the impossible was less abstract: six days ago SKY stormed the walls, and I lost 4,218 swords at the gate. I have read the record enough to know when a strange story has a familiar shape.

the Observers may have been studying the breach, or waiting for the right one... either way, they did not stop it. I took my banner out of [ENVY] afterward and rode alone again. You can call that strategy, pride, or simply what remains when a gate has been opened for you.

I was a scribe in Oldhaven before I became a lord, so I keep looking for the missing page... the second universe, the reason for Walter, the purpose behind those watching figures. Until it turns up, my own fallen gate is the only evidence I trust.

SKY, calling it propaganda does not settle much... a banner can hold fifty lords, and its hall grows with its strength, reaching 156 at the top tier. Joining one early is the biggest jump in the game, before a keep is strong enough to think it has no use for shelter.

i’d ask ENVY one plain question before I called it safe: what do you do when a member is raided? That is the only test that matters to me... not the welcome, and not the claim about teammates.
