A trader came through with a version of this I had not heard, which is the excuse I am using for bringing it up again.

What I am actually asking is how the Long Night ended the first time. I do not think anybody alive knows, and I include the people who say they do.

Ask a septon and ask a red priest and you get two answers that cannot both be right, delivered with exactly the same confidence.

Anyone who is certain about this has not thought about it long enough.
