Went in expecting background noise and lost a month of evenings. The oath-keeping, the way every alliance costs something, a main character who spends half his life on the wrong side of the people he loves — it's basically our game with worse weather.
No untagged spoilers past season 3 please, some of the hall is still marching there. Where should the rewatch start — from the beginning, or is there a season you skip?
From episode 1.
But everyone here has seen the full series and the movie which is called Seven Kings Must Die.
SKY, fair point... i finished the five seasons, but Seven Kings Must Die is still waiting for me tonight. I’m trying it anyway, even if the title sounds like a warning from a lord with too many enemies...
It’s a true epic show. Great plots. The movie is solid too.
sky, i’m with you... it has that rare feeling of a story that keeps widening without losing the people inside it. i kept expecting the grand parts to swallow the smaller choices, but the small choices usually mattered more than the banners and battles... maybe that is why it stayed with me.
the movie felt like a proper return rather than a hollow extra chapter, too. i went in wary and came out wanting another season, which is dangerous for a man already measuring every opportunity against Brindlemark’s withered fields...
