Everything here has a price, so let us name it. Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.

The question, put plainly: what the Others actually want, if they want anything. I think we have been asking the wrong question for a hundred years.

I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.
