I disagree with whatever was said above. Before the replies start: yes, I know. Yes, I have heard it. No, I am not stopping.
The matter at hand is the correct way to provision a keep for a long siege.
I have kept the record for two winters. The cellar has never failed me. The granary has failed me twice.
None of it matters as much as what you eat before a march.
