I should like to know whether Coldhands is who everyone says he is

Allow me a moment of unhelpful accuracy. Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.

Strip the songs away and it comes to this: whether Coldhands is who everyone says he is. I have changed my mind on this twice, which is more than most will admit to.

There is a version of this where the truth is dull — a bad decision, a bad winter, nobody's grand design — and I have never once heard anybody argue for it.

Do not quote me. Do take the advice. You may laugh; the sentiment stands.
