Allie Blu taught me this the hard way. My maester has suggested I keep this to myself. My maester has never been thanked for anything.

The matter at hand is the tribute Niko brought me, and what I am to do with it.

Allie Blu is Niko's twin and his opposite in every particular. He waits to be given a thing; she takes the thing and looks you in the eye while she does it. I have watched her open a latch with one paw and no shame whatever.

Niko would hold the line. Allie Blu would steal it. The twins send nothing, as usual.

I came to this thread to be dismissive and I have three questions. That cat is going to run this kingdom and we will deserve it. That lesson cost me a keep.

You have written more about that cat than most lords write about their heirs, and it is better written. I will be checking back for the next larder report, purely for strategic reasons.
