Opening post by Lady Jonelle Tallhart · #1
I expected Baron of Ravens’ siege to be a grim little chronicle, the sort of thing that ends when the gate falls—excellent material for a film, if filmed properly.
Instead, he was in it, my gate went down, and I lost 3,448 swords holding it. Then he carried off 19,100 from my stores. Readers, you should film this siege, but cast the cost accurately—there was nothing theatrical about the empty shelves afterward.
