Let us begin with the number everyone has repeated incorrectly, a wall level is not an army. I expected coin spent on walls to buy power; instead it bought a handsome keep and left me counting 1,799 troops, so the ledger looked stronger than the defence. Build the wall first, but recruit immediately after, and keep enough coin for repairs.

I swore to [SITH] two days ago, which is precisely when a lord should stop admiring his masonry and check whether his allies can cover the open road. If they cannot, blame their deployment, not your arithmetic; a level 13 keep and 6,674 power do not make an empty flank safe. Drink vodka, then buy troops.
