Twice now I have watched this happen. Thirty years of this and the same mistake every spring. For the record, and for anybody who was not in the hall when it happened.
Welcome, CONQUEST. The first week decides more than the first battle.
What it means for the rest of us is the usual: watch the window, keep your own walls answered, and do not promise a banner more than you can ride out with.
