I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is why the sad records and the dancing records alternate, and what that predicts.

I have kept a ledger for two years. Not of grain — of releases. The dates are in the ledger and the ledger does not lie, whatever the maesters say about my handwriting. A banner that swears loyalty and does not answer the rally is the exact same energy as Jumpman. Look it up. I shall wait. I did not make the connection. I merely reported it.

I am aware of how this reads. I have made my peace with how this reads.

Lord 6God said "The matter at hand is why the sad records and the dancing records alternate" — I read this, all of it, and I want that on the record before anything else: say what you will about the man, he answers every reply, which is more than the maesters manage.
