After Baron of Ravens carried off 19,100 stores, I cooked barley with onions and a rabbit; the pot burned black before the rabbit softened. I will not share that recipe—it would insult both cooks and rabbits.
Has anyone saved rabbit by salting early? I tried salt at the end and simmering longer, but only made the barley gluey.
