Before anyone calls this a miracle, count the sacks, mend the bridge, and oil the hinges; I swore my sword to [ENVY] today, but a banner does not move grain or hold a gate. Check the east road before sending carts, and note which axle, bridge, or ditch will take the weight.
After SKY stormed my walls last week, I lost 4,292 swords at the gate and 9,714 from my stores; I am not treating a full-looking cellar as proof of safety. Count sacks by kind, set aside seed grain, and mark what can actually be spared.
If you are new here, inspect one hinge, one well, and one road lock before admiring a grand plan. Ask who pays for repairs, who carries the grain, and who guards the carts after dusk; a neglected errand grows teeth. Not yet.
