I should like to know what the Faceless Men are really for

This is the part I got wrong twice. This will not help anybody take a seat, and I am posting it anyway. Winter nights are long and the board is quiet.

What I am actually asking is what the Faceless Men are really for. My maester has a theory. My maester has fourteen theories.

Ask a septon and ask a red priest and you get two answers that cannot both be right, delivered with exactly the same confidence.

It cost me a keep to learn. It costs you nothing to read.
