2 hawks watched from the gatehouse while my 15,575 swords stayed behind the walls. I expected their flight to show me riders beyond the snow, but they only circled the same tower and settled again.
I kept the gates shut and waited with them. It cost me the morning, and the hawks learned no more than I did.
