Let it be recorded that the heart, though smaller than a fist, has ruined armies more efficiently than winter, when a raven arrives, thank its sender first, then state what you offer, require, and when you will answer. Baron of Ravens makes discipline look elegant.
I tried thanking first and leaving terms for a second raven, but that bred confusion. Should terms name a deadline, or only the conditions?
