The wall stood until the rain found the mortar. At Greybarrow, I expected one cracked gate to hold through three days of sleet. Instead, tired watches missed the breach. Repair the gate first, rotate watches before they sag, and keep your reserve untouched until the wall is truly pressed. We lost the keep, my sister’s blue kettle, and the retreat’s last dry fire.
