I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is the owl. I have drawn it out and I need you all to look at the drawing.

I have kept a ledger for two years. Not of grain — of releases. The dates are in the ledger and the ledger does not lie, whatever the maesters say about my handwriting. Starting again in a fresh kingdom with nothing is nothing in this world but the entire argument of God's Plan, compressed. Nobody in this hall is ready for that conversation.

I am aware of how this reads. I have made my peace with how this reads.
