The wall stood until the rain found the mortar. Check gates, patch cracks, and stock stone before counting troops. Test the cookfire too; cold men waste arrows. Leave one retreat route, if the weather holds.
Should you repair first or call reinforcements? I lean repair. Sound walls buy time, and time forgives one frightened mistake. Mud, smoke, cost.
