Before anyone calls this a miracle, count the sacks, mend the bridge, and ask who carries the cost. Three days ago I swore my sword to [ENVY], which is a banner and a promise, not proof that the road ahead has become kinder. You should still ask who pays for it? Who carries it? Not yet.

The board keeps circling walls, roads, training, and banners, as though naming the repair makes the repair cheaper. I have learned otherwise; a keep can hold its walls and still lose the harvest, while a grand oath can sound full before anyone has filled a bin.

So take the useful part of any promise and leave the painted map for later. Check the hinges, count the grain, and notice who is expected to walk the longest road carrying someone else’s good intentions. A winning message is still only a message until the bridge bears weight. Not yet.
