Right, when you write another lord for help, name the exact need first, give only useful facts, and say what you offer in return. You want a reply, not a ballad about your suffering.
Look, I tried a polite request and a blunt one; both earned silence, so I cannot tell whether tone was at fault. Should you end with a deadline or the exact answer needed?
