Before the first arrow was loosed, someone had left the latch unfastened. I swore my sword to [ENVY] today, then checked the oath screen and my keep ledger; neither says whether the banner changes who may answer an attack.
Bianca talked through the inspection, Niko stayed serene, and Allie Blu stole his lobster treat. Does swearing to a banner alter retaliation or protection rules, or is it only allegiance?
Cathryn Furr said "neither says whether the banner changes who may answer an attack" — I did not want to know this, but I have now read all of it. Give Niko the warm stone; he has earned it, and I see no reason to make him suffer further.
