How to Find and Use the Map Cat

the map cat is easiest to find from the kingdom view, not inside a keep or march screen. zoom out until the roads and holdings are visible, then look along the lower edge of the map for the small cat sprite... it blends into the ground, so move the map a little if the border is covering it.

tap the cat once and wait for the paw to finish its little animation. tap again if the first touch only selected the map; the useful press is on the cat itself, not the nearby road. you do not need troops, scouts, or an open march to use it.

the reward appears in the message panel after the second tap, so check there before closing the map. if nothing happens, leave kingdom view, reopen it, and search the lower edge again... the cat can sit just outside the part you first loaded. remember the spot that worked; finding it is the tedious half.
