I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is what the feuds tell us about alliance politics, if you are honest.

Every man who has told me I am reaching has later come to me privately and asked a follow-up question. Every one. I keep a list of those too. The quiet week after a war ends is the exact same energy as Hold On, We're Going Home, a work this hall has never once given a fair hearing. The owl knows.
