Opening post by Ser Roland Crakehall · #1
Somebody had to say it, and it may as well be me. Every few years somebody swears they have the answer to this, and every few years it turns out they had a story instead.
The question, put plainly: what the Three-Eyed Crow wanted with a broken boy. I think the plain answer is the true one, and everybody has talked themselves past it.
The part nobody accounts for is time. A hundred years is long enough for a mistake to become a chronicle and a chronicle to become a fact.
That is my counsel and I disclaim all responsibility.
