Nobody has ever explained whether Bran sees the past or changes it

Ha. Somebody had to say it, and it may as well be me. This will not help anybody take a seat, and I am posting it anyway. Winter nights are long and the board is quiet.

What I am actually asking is whether Bran sees the past or changes it. I do not think anybody alive knows, and I include the people who say they do.

There is a version of this where the truth is dull — a bad decision, a bad winter, nobody's grand design — and I have never once heard anybody argue for it.

That is my counsel and I disclaim all responsibility.
