This is written down, though few read it. Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.

What I am actually asking is what the Faceless Men are really for. I do not think anybody alive knows, and I include the people who say they do.

I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.

I have set it down. Do with it what you like. Consult the ledger before the sword.
