Before you raise another troop, study these in order; I would rather see you grow steadily than feed a siege badly prepared.
Read the troop tree and compare cost, upkeep, and counters.
Study resource buildings before spending speed-ups on soldiers.
Learn infirmary limits, march times, and terrain bonuses.
Watch one battle report and copy what worked before committing your own host.
