Opening post by Lady Wynafryd Hornwood · #1
I expected a siege to begin when I gave the order. Instead, the army would only be ready when its slowest troop arrived, and I had not studied that march speed first. The cost was wasted time and supplies, with the enemy given warning.
Study march speed before raising troops for a siege. Compare every troop you will send, check the full army’s arrival time, and only then choose the hour of attack.
