i made the cheap mistake of swelling my garrison before fortifying the keep. troops drain resources, while stronger walls keep paying back every defence... at level 19, I would build the keep first, then fill it.
you can call that obvious. i tried adding troops, but the larger garrison did not show how much fortification would have saved. does anyone know when a keep upgrade beats more bodies?
