the map cat wanders near roads and keeps; it is not a unit or omen...
open the world map and zoom in until the smallest details show
look for the little cat beside a road, wall, or tree
tap the cat once, then tap the paw icon to pet it
if it vanishes, close and reopen the map... cats dislike being hunted
